Before proceeding straight away to Install Quickbooks Desktop it is recommended to first check system requirements and compatibility with Quickbooks Desktop.

Install QuickBooks Desktop

Install QuickBooks Desktop

  • Download  the Quickbooks from the website
  • Agree to the licensee agreement and click next To Install Quickbooks Desktop
  • Now it will prompt you to fill in your credentials, fill in your license number and product number
  • Select the type of installation compatible for your computer.
    • Express: This will make the installation process quick and compact recommended choices for you.
    • Custom and Network Options: If you are going to use multiple versions of QuickBooks Desktop on the same computer or if you’ll use QuickBooks to share data with other users on a network then this would be best for you.
  • Choose how you will be using Quickbooks
    • Option 1: I’ll be using QuickBooks on this computer.
    • Option 2: I’ll be using QuickBooks on this computer, and I’ll be storing our company file here so it can be shared over our network.
    • Option 3: I won’t be using QuickBooks on this computer. I will be storing our company file on this computer so it can be shared over a network.
  • Select new install location for Quickbooks or simply click on Next to save installation files on default location
  • Click on Install to Install Quickbooks Desktop
  • Once it is Installed Click on Open Quickbooks to get started
  • Now you will be asked for some general business information for activation, follow the on-screen instruction to activate your Quickbooks and you are Good to Go.

Once Installation is completed you can either create a new company file and start working on it or you may move the old company file on Quickbooks. In case you find any difficulty in following troubleshooting steps or you encounter any error message you can contact.
